Registration Fees

  • First Registration per member ministry: $425
  • Beyond first registration from a ministry: $375
  • Retired CHHSM CEOs / Spouse of Attendee: $275
  • Per day registration:
    Thursday $150
    Friday $150
    Saturday $200

Non-registrant fees for single events:

  • Mayor's Reception / Keynote Dinner (Thursday, March 4): $70
  • Lunch at First Church (Saturday, March 6): $20
  • CHHSM Awards Dinner (Saturday, March 6): $85

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in the CHHSM office by 4 p.m. on Monday, February 1 will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued after February 1. However, registration is transferable within the same member ministry upon notification to the CHHSM Annual Meeting Registrar, Lorraine Cogan, at 866-822-8224 ext. 2250 or via e-mail.

The JW Marriott Hotel
The beautiful JW Marriott Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Grand Rapids' business, cultural, shopping and entertainment district. Located at 235 Louis Street, NW, on the Grand River, the hotel's unique design offers guest panoramic views in all directions. There are 340 guest rooms and suites, including some on Concierge floors with special amenities. Each guest room features a 37" flat screen TV.

All guest rooms are equipped with JW Marriott Technology Docking Stations for internet access. The cost is $9.95 per day. All public areas of the hotel provide free Wi-Fi access. There is no fee to use the 24-hour Fitness Center, indoor heated pool, steam rooms or Jacuzzi. Pamper yourself at Vasaio Spa, enjoy fine dining at the hotel's acclaimed restaurant, six.one.six, or meet colleagues for drinks at the JW's fashionable lounge, Mixology. The Executive Business Center will meet any urgent work-related need you may have.

The JW Marriott Grand Rapids is a 100% smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted within 25 feet of the hotel entrance or anywhere on hotel property. Violators of the strictly enforced no smoking policy will be fined up to $250.00.

Room Rate: $139.00 + tax (currently 14%)/ per room / per night

The cut-off date for hotel reservations at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids is February 20, 2010. After that date, the reserved room block will be released for general sale with no guarantee of space or availability of the special CHHSM group rate.

Air Travel
The JW Marriott is a brief 20-minute drive from Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Continental Airlines Meeting Works is offering discounted travel from March 1-10, 2010. When booking travel online at www.continental.com, enter the Offer Code ZGM8ANZ1EW in the Offer Code Box. If booking through a travel agent or directly through Meeting Works at 800-468-7022, please use the following information: Agreement Code: ANZ1EW; Z Code: ZGM8.

Discounts for travel are also available on Delta and Northwest Airlines through Delta Meeting Network Support. When making reservations, reference discount contract # 407916. Several stipulations apply and a $20 non-refundable ticketing fee will be assessed for tickets issued by Delta or Northwest.

Ground Transportation
There is no shuttle service to or from Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Taxi fare from the airport to the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids is $35 one way with no additional charge for more than one passenger. There will be CHHSM Greeters in the baggage claim area to welcome you and to help organize taxi groups.
