Vice President of Spiritual Life
Beatitudes Campus, a progressive retirement community, seeks a new vice president of spiritual life who will also serve as associate pastor at Church of the Beatitudes. The Campus is home to approximately 600 older people; work with this population along with Campus employees will make up approximately 90% of the vice president's work. As associate pastor at the Church, the vice president will provide a vital connection between campus and congregation. The successful candidate will have full standing or eligibility for dual standing in the UCC and will possess the skills to help older people continue to develop their own sense of spirituality through worship, education, service, and pastoral care. Director of Fund Development
Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF), a large not-for-profit organization with headquarters in Long Beach, California, seeks a director of fund development. RHF develops, provides and manages housing and services for older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities in 24 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands. The Director of Fund Development manages the fund development department which is responsible for annual giving; capital giving planned giving; grants, stewardship, and RHF community fundraising. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with CFRE preferred, and a minimum of seven years of successful and progressive experience in fund development, fund raising, planned giving and grants management. Ability in annual giving, capital, major gifts and planned giving, as well as grant procurement is also required. A background check and drug screen are required. Bethany Children's Home in Womelsdorf, PA is looking for married couples to be Houseparents. Being a Houseparent, which includes living on our historic campus with Bethany's young men or young women, is both challenging and rewarding. Houseparents are responsible for providing compassion, structure, and daily supervision for the young people of Bethany Children's Home. Applicants should be mature, responsible individuals with a sense of mission to guide Bethany's young people through the challenges of adolescence.
