Registration is Open for the 2021 CHHSM 83rd Annual Gathering, to be Held Virtually and Free of Charge
Registration for CHHSM’s 2021 Annual Gathering, to be held virtually March 2-4, opens today and is free for all who wish to attend. In lieu of a fee, registrants will have the option to help support the work of CHHSM in leadership formation and racial equity and inclusion.
“Due to the extraordinary circumstances this year, and the fact that the event is being held online, we decided to make the virtual Annual Gathering a free event,” says Michael J. Readinger, CHHSM president and CEO. “We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow many more people to attend.”
Additionally, when registering for the Annual Gathering, attendees will be asked to consider supporting CHHSM’s Legacy Fund or Racial Equity and Inclusion Fund. The Legacy Fund supports such initiatives as scholarships to the Nollau Leadership Institute, the Rev. Jerry Paul CHHSM Scholar program, and Governance Training for member organizations.
The Racial Equity and Inclusion Fund supports organizations that are working to end systemic racism. These five organizations were awarded grants by CHHSM’s board of directors in November 2020:
- Grassroots Law Project
- Ohio Poor People’s Campaign
- The Bail Project
- The UCC’s Overdose and Drug Use Ministries (ODUM)
- New Ballet Ensemble
CHHSM is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization , and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
