Howard Named Vice President of Residential Programming for Seven Counties Services/Bellewood & Brooklawn
Seven Counties Services/Bellewood & Brooklawn — based in Louisville, Ky. — announced in early June the promotion of staff member Alison Howard to vice president of residential programming.
In her new role, Howard will provide administrative and clinical oversight of all residential programs, ensuring that services directors provide adequate and effective leadership to all aspects of service delivery. She also will lead strategic and financial planning for residential programming while partnering with the human resource team to hire and train the staff needed to implement strategies and improvements. Friends, donors, community partners, and supporters of Seven Counties Services/Bellewood & Brooklawn also will play a key role and be an asset to the residential programming team, said Abbreial Drane, president and CEO.
“I am excited to join the work at Bellewood & Brooklawn,” Howard said. “There are few things more important than giving our very best to youth going through tough times and needing safety, support, and encouragement. I am looking forward to this new adventure.”
Howard has been with Seven Counties Services/Bellewood & Brooklawn since working on her practicum in its Acute Services Division and serving as a therapeutic aid as a student in 2002. Upon earning her Master’s Degree in 2003, Alison joined the organization as a full-time therapist. Since then, she has held several supervisory roles, including unit manager for Shelby and Spencer Counties (Ky.) and project director for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
“As a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years’ experience at our organization and a passion to heal the hearts and minds of children, we are excited to see Alison flourish in this next part of her journey,” Drane added.
