U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Cedar Community’s Independent Living and Memory Care Services
Cedar Community has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2024 Best Independent Living and Best Memory Care community. The ratings offer a look at the best senior living communities across the United States, assisting older adults and their loved ones when researching and choosing the right senior living community for them.
For its 2024 Best Senior Living ratings, U.S. News rated nearly 3,500 communities on several criteria, including resident and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value and other services, and amenities provided by the community.
“As the region’s largest faith-based, nonprofit senior living, Cedar Community continues to provide resident-centered care focused on cultivating a sense of community and purposeful living across the entire scope of services we offer,” says Sarah Malchow, chief administrative officer of Cedar Community. “The recognition received by U. S. News & World Report is a testament to the quality, dedicated, and compassionate team members who provide exemplary service each and every day.”
U.S. News awards the designation of “Best Senior Living” only to those communities that satisfy U.S. News’ statistical assessment of performance on consumer satisfaction surveys administered in the previous two calendar years, reflecting the viewpoints of more than 400,000 residents and family members. Only the highest-rated communities in each care level earned a “Best” rating.
