HealthCare Chaplaincy Network Launches Spiritual Care Association

The HealthCare Chaplaincy Network recently announced the launch of the Spiritual Care Association, the first multidisciplinary, international professional membership association for spiritual care providers that establishes evidence-based quality indicators, scope of practice, and a knowledge base for spiritual care in health care.
The nonprofit SCA is an affiliate of HealthCare Chaplaincy Network, a health care nonprofit organization founded in 1961 that offers spiritual-related information and resources, and professional chaplaincy services in hospitals, other health care settings, and online.

United Church Homes has been selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to participate in a new Medicare alternative payment model designed to support people living with dementia and their caregivers.
