Brudzynski Named CEO of Archway Communities

Laura Brudzynski is the new CEO of Archway.

Laura Brudzynski has been named new chief executive officer of Archway Communities (Archway), based in Lakewood, Colo. She began her new duties Jan. 1, 2025. Brudzynski succeeds Sebastian Corradino, who has led the organization since 2020.

“Housing stability is one of the most pressing challenges facing Coloradans, and I am honored to lead an organization at the forefront of creating affordable homes with supportive services in our state,” said Brudzynski. “Archway has addressed the housing crisis by building and managing safe, stable communities and working with our partners to advocate for equitable policy solutions. I look forward to building on the foundation that Sebastian established and collaborating with our dedicated team to deliver innovative solutions that empower individuals and families to thrive in Colorado and beyond.”

Brudzynski joined Archway Communities as chief operating officer in October 2023. She oversaw internal operations and collaborated with the real estate team to expand Archway’s footprint. As CEO, she will continue to drive Archway’s mission to address housing shortages and create supportive communities across the Denver metro area.

“Archway recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its history,” said outgoing CEO Sebastian Corradino. “Laura’s extensive knowledge of Colorado’s housing landscape, coupled with her strong leadership and communication skills, will position Archway to expand its impact and play an even greater role in addressing the critical need for affordable, equitable housing in our region.”

Prior to joining Archway, Brudzynski served as chief housing officer for the City of Denver, where she was instrumental in launching Denver’s Department of Housing Stability (HOST). As executive director and deputy director prior, she managed a $250 million budget and expanded the department to over 130 positions. She developed dedicated funding streams for affordable housing and homelessness resolution, strengthened policy tools to preserve affordability, and developed partnerships to help transform Denver’s pipeline of housing and services. Before launching HOST, she served as Denver’s director of housing policy and programs within its Office of Economic Development.

Brudzynski holds master’s degrees in public administration and urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado — Denver, and a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis.
