Their achievements create a profound impact that makes an extraordinary difference for their clients and employees across the nation.”

This year’s Titan 100 embody the true diversity of Wisconsin’s business landscape, representing manufacturing, construction/real estate, healthcare, financial services, professional services, and non-profit among others.

As president and chief executive officer of Cedar Community, the largest nonprofit senior living organization in Southeastern Wisconsin, and the 133rd largest in the United States, Pretre is a performance-driven executive with an in-depth understanding of corporate strategic visioning and planning; marketing and business development; budgeting, revenue, and growth strategies; donor development and stewardship; and the ability to develop strong relationships. She brings more than 30 years of senior living, healthcare, business development, marketing, fundraising, and media experience to her role.

Through her leadership, Pretre is driving strategic growth and industry partnership opportunities, repositioning services, redeveloping legacy campuses, diversifying and growing revenue, and projecting the future well being and healthcare needs of Cedar Community’s residents and team members, while staying focused on the organization’s nonprofit mission.

Pretre is grateful for the opportunity to advocate, educate, and inform, to ensure that both older adults and the senior living workforce are represented thoughtfully and have the professional and dignified support they deserve.  “I am deeply honored to receive this award,” she said. “It is not just a reflection of my individual efforts and unwavering dedication, but a tribute to the amazing team who shares my vision. This recognition motivates me to continue striving for excellence as a leader in the aging services industry, and to guide our collective vision for the future.”
