CHHSM Store, CPS Celebrates New Vendor Programs and Services

In recent months, Care Purchasing Services (CPS) ­— the group purchasing agent behind the CHHSM Store — has published daily or weekly COVID-19-related vendor lists and equipment availability lists, which are accessible via the CHHSM COVID-19 resources page. Not content to rest on its laurels, CPS has released an extensive new list of vendors available to CHHSM members via the Store.

“We are constantly adding new vendor programs and services,” says Natalia Hernandez, CPS client account manager for the CHHSM Store. “This year alone, we added 10 new relationships in different categories, including plant operations, renovations, technology, therapy equipment clinical food & beverage, and medical equipment. We’ve been able to expand our contracted pricing with our vendors to include new items for our members.”

The vendor list runs the gamut of services, including transportation companies like Lyft, several cognitive and memory care companies, and everything from consulting services to medical forms and equipment, pharmacies, food services, janitorial services, and more.

“Our new vendor relationships include HUR Fitness Solutions, My Fields Audits, Culligan International, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, VirtuSense Technologies, Inside Edge, FLSA America, DataVizion, and National Mobile X-ray,” Hernandez adds.

In addition to saving CHHSM member organizations money, many of the CHHSM Store vendors also offer discounts to employees of CHHSM members. Those that offer employee discounts include — among others — Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National car rental companies, Sprint, ProFlowers, and Shari’s Berries.

“The CHHSM Store allows both CHHSM member organizations and their employees to access discounts on purchases,” says Michael J. Readinger, CHHSM president and CEO. “We are happy to be able to provide the service to our members because not only does it allow CHHSM members to easily practice good stewardship, it also offers a way for organizations to say thank you to their employees. So not only does the CHHSM Store help member organizations, it helps the many people who work for them.”
