Feb. 2 Webinar to Feature Ways Clinical Support Can Help Resolve Supply Chain Issues
A new webinar, “How Clinical Support can Assist with Supply Chain Challenges,” takes place via Microsoft Teams Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. ET. The webinar is hosted by CPS, the group purchasing agent behind the CHHSM Store, and is geared to CHHSM members’ needs.
CPS vendor McKesson will be presenting the webinar. Jeff Ward, field vice president of strategic accounts post-acute care, will discuss market challenges and how McKesson is meeting the challenges head on through creative solutions and investment in technology. He will review how some of the tools McKesson has to offer can help health care providers make better decisions in order to limit their exposure to market pitfalls — while keeping a close eye on the bottom line.
Patti Baicy, McKesson’s director of clinical resources, will talk about how her team can help facility staff optimize formularies, avoid alternate market scams, and help the employees to be as knowledgeable as they can be about infection control, hospital readmission and several other areas of vital performance.
“We are happy to team up with CPS once again in offering this webinar to our CHHSM members,” said Michael J. Readinger, CHHSM president and CEO. “Especially now, with COVID-19 numbers rising again, supply chain challenges are impacting all health and human service ministries. We look forward to this enlightening presentation.”
