Hoffman Homes’ New Branding Emphasizes ‘Community’

Hoffman Homes in Littlestown, Pa., has quietly been expanding its services. Since 2022, it has launched its new transitional living, therapeutic shelter and outpatient therapy ministry outreach programs. As part of that growth, Hoffman Homes also decided to update its logo and brand.
“The rebranding process motivated me to dig through our institutional archives,” said Hoffman Homes CEO Rebecca Van der Groef, LSW. “While I can recite our history and the changes that were made over time, I wanted a more personal connection with those who have led the organization before me.”
In searching for an historical perspective to ground the new logo and brand, Van der Groef said that she learned that “each leader had a vision of something greater for Hoffman. They kept us moving forward with the generous support of donors and friends. And along the way, they adjusted our logo to fit the services we offered at the time.”
The new Hoffman Homes logo symbolizes community — the people Hoffman Homes serves, as well as its staff members, board members, volunteers, and donors.
“Hoffman is a community of helpers,” Van der Groef added. “This logo represents our organization today and will stand the test of time as we move into the future and embark on new opportunities.”
The new brand will be implemented over the next few months.
