Phoebe/DeSales Partnership Helps Employees Afford College

Phoebe Ministries, based in Allentown, Pa., and DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa., recently announced a strategic partnership to encourage employee recruitment and retention through discounted tuition for higher education.

As part of the partnership, DeSales University will provide eligible Phoebe employees’ children a 60 percent discount on traditional undergraduate programs upon acceptance to DeSales University. DeSales University also will offer qualifying Phoebe employees a 25 percent reduction on tuition for select graduate degrees, adult studies bachelor’s degrees, and certificate programs. Full-time, part-time, and per diem employees of Phoebe Ministries are eligible to participate.

Phoebe Ministries employs more than 1,200 Eastern Pennsylvania residents, most of whom live within driving distance of the DeSales University campus. For those who prefer to study from home, DeSales also offers the flexibility of virtual and online instruction, making educational advancement more accessible for all of Phoebe’s dedicated employees.
