Phoebe Ministries Announces Staff Changes

Allentown, PA Phoebe Ministries announces the following changes in staffing:

Buskirk

Brynn Buskirk, was promoted to Vice President, Marketing and External Relations for Phoebe Ministries. In this role she is responsible for all marketing, communications, and sales endeavors for the organization, as well as the strategic vision for the Phoebe Institute on Aging. A trained media spokesperson and skilled in market planning, crisis communications, and consultative selling, Buskirk was appointed last year to Regional Director of Marketing and Sales for Phoebe Ministries. In that role, Buskirk assumed developing sales goals for independent living and personal care, as well as implementing and tracking sales metrics and performances.

Buskirk came to Phoebe in June 2011 as Corporate Director of Marketing and Community Relations with extensive experience in the health care and higher education marketing and public relations arenas.

Buskirk earned a Master of Arts in American Studies from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Sociology from Moravian College. She currently serves on the Planning Committee for the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Summit and is a member of the Marketing and Public Relations Society of Senior Housing and Service Professionals (MPRS). She is a resident of Northampton.

Prohaska

Stacey L. Prohaska was promoted to Executive Director, Office of Philanthropy for Phoebe Ministries. In this position, Prohaska will provide overall leadership for the philanthropy program to ensure that Phoebe’s fundraising goals are achieved.

Earlier this year, Prohaska was appointed Director of Institutional Advancement at Phoebe Ministries. Previously, she served as Director of Development and Community Relations at Circle of Seasons Charter School where she led a successful campaign to purchase the school’s property in only its fourth year of operation. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of the Allentown School District Foundation (ASDF). Prior to the ASDF, she served as Director of Communication and Donor Relations at Muhlenberg College.

A resident of Allentown, Prohaska earned a Master of Arts in English and Publishing from Rosemont College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cedar Crest College.

She currently serves on the Leaders Council of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools, the Development Committee for the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education, and on the fundraising committee for the Coalition of Community Charter Schools.

Bateman

Emilie Bateman, was promoted to Director of Marketing and Community Relations for Phoebe Ministries.  She will oversee the Marketing and Community Relations staff, market planning and facilitation for Phoebe’s Continuing Care Retirement Communities, the Phoebe website, social media, and other marketing projects.

Bateman has been employed by Phoebe since 2012, first as the Marketing Assistant, and most recently as the Marketing Coordinator where she assisted in developing and managing the marketing plans for Phoebe Ministries and maintained the organization’s web presence and social media platforms.

Bateman earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from East Stroudsburg University. She is a resident of Allentown.
